Philosopher Catherine Elgin discusses the role of ethics in science on October 27, 2010.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY—Catherine Elgin ’70, professor of philosophy of education, will deliver the lecture "Inquiry and Integrity: The role of Ethics in Science," on Wednesday, October 27, at 5:00pm Taylor Hall, room 203. This lecture is presented as part of the Philosopher's Holiday Series at Vassar College and is free and open to the public.

This lecture is part of Philosopher’s Holiday, presented through the auspices of the Department of Philosophy, a student and faculty-run speakers program started in 1943 that has brought distinguished speakers such as Albert Camus and Hannah Arendt to Vassar. For further information, see
