Michael Murray received his PhD from Yale University (1968), MA the University of Texas (1965), and BA from University of Notre Dame (1963), and did graduate study at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He is author of Modern Critical Theory: A Phenomenological Introduction, and Modern Philosophy of History, and is the editor of and contributor to Heidegger and Modern Philosophy: Critical Essays. Professor Murray teaches courses on Continental philosophy of the 19th and 20th centuries, especially the work of Heidegger, Derrida, and Foucault, Queer Theory, Philosophy of Art and Aesthetics, Literary Theory, and History of Philosophy, Modern and Ancient.
