Jamie Kelly has a B.A. in English and Philosophy (2000), and an M.A. in Philosophy (2002) from Carleton University. He received his PhD in Philosophy from Boston University in 2007. His primary interests concern the relationship between political philosophy and empirical research into human decision-making. His current work focuses upon the role of political judgment in various theories of democracy. He also has interests in Ethics, Legal Philosophy and Kant scholarship (especially Kant's account of the power of judgment).
